How It Started
A Barrel Between Two Trees
Keystone Rodeo didn't start as a business plan. It started in the backyard, with a barrel tied between two trees and a rope in my hands, rocking my daughter Jasmine back and forth like it was the wildest ride in the world.
Years later, as Jasmine turned eighteen, I asked her how she wanted to celebrate. She wanted axe throwing at her party. She also wanted the barrel back, suspended between the trees one more time, just like when she was little. I said sure, then kept thinking about it. Why rent a barrel and rope when we could get an actual mechanical bull?
That one decision turned into a family business we run together. Otherwise, I wouldn't be interested.
Today we bring both attractions to public and private events across New England, family-owned and family-run, from the fairgrounds to the backyard.
